Built around you

A great program doesn't start with a template. It starts with the person. Your goals, experience, schedule, movement ability, equipment, preferences and appropriate limitations shape the plan. As you progress, the plan progresses with you.

Your starting point

We establish where you are now, what you want to accomplish, and what your training needs to respect.

Your program

Strength, conditioning, fat loss, muscle building and movement work are selected for your goals — not because they happened to be on a generic workout.

Your progress

We track performance, consistency and meaningful changes, so adjustments are based on what is actually happening.

Your accountability

A difficult week doesn't automatically mean failure. We adjust intelligently, stay accountable and keep moving forward.

More than a workout

A PDF can list exercises. Coaching means making decisions with you.

Adjusted for real life

Work, family, travel, recovery, equipment and schedule all matter. Your program needs enough structure to create progress and enough flexibility to survive real life.

Written for you

No cookie-cutter plan with your name pasted on top. The program is built around the person doing it.

What are you training for?

Transformation

Lose body fat, reshape your physique, improve conditioning and build sustainable habits.

Strength & muscle

Build strength, muscle, work capacity and confidence with progressive resistance training.

Start or restart

Learn how to train with structure, whether you're new to the gym or returning after time away.

Comeback training

For appropriately cleared clients returning to fitness after an injury, surgery, rehab or major setback, training is adapted to current ability and any relevant professional guidance.

The Elite Fit method

Assess → Build → Progress → Perform. The same four stages, whatever you came in for.

01
Assess

Know exactly where you're starting.

02
Build

Create a foundation you can train on.

03
Progress

Increase the challenge intelligently.

04
Perform

Turn the work into the outcome that matters.

Why Rico coaches this way

I know what rebuilding means because I’ve lived it. After surviving gun violence and facing paralysis and nerve damage, I learned that progress isn’t always a straight line. It takes patience, intelligent progression, consistency, and the willingness to keep working when the process gets difficult.

That experience shaped how I coach today. I don’t define people by where they’re starting. I build from what they can do now and help them earn the next level.

1-on-1 coaching

Fully individualized coaching for clients who want the highest level of personalization, feedback, progression and accountability. Different goals need different levels of support — choose the structure that fits your schedule and how much accountability you want.

Pre-written programs

Structured training blocks for independent exercisers who are healthy enough for general exercise and don't need individualized accommodations. If you're unsure whether a program fits your situation, start with the free assessment.

01
4 weeks · 3 days a week

4-Week Program

One training block. A reset or a primer — enough time to rebuild a habit, clean up technique and put a floor under your main lifts before committing to anything longer.

02
8 weeks · 3-4 days a week

8-Week Program

Two blocks that stack. The first builds the base and the volume; the second turns it into strength you can see on the bar. The middle ground for most people.

03
12 weeks · 4 days a week

12-Week Program

Three blocks — technique, volume, intensity — the full arc. Long enough for real structural change, with the progressions written in so you never guess at the next step.
